With a surface area of 1954sqmts the Darwin Bowls and Social Club fabric canopy represents the largest single canopy manufactured in Australia. The canopy is manufactured from Serge Ferrari TX30 Fabric.
The structure is an Open Ended Structure, wind rated to Cyclonic category 4. The structure is orientated with the low perimeter beams on the East and West so as to block out the morning and afternoon sun. The waterproof Serge Ferrari TX30 Fabric allows for excellent translucency undercover and protection from rain.
Water run off is collected by way of a box gutter and discharged into a neighbouring water course.
The Lighting offers 450 lux on the playing surface allowing for international tournaments to be played and all round excellent night time visibility.
